Privacy Policy — Animal Tower
last updated 25 June 2026
The short version: Animal Tower collects no personal information, has no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. There are no accounts and no sign-in. The only time it goes online is to show our optional “More games” screen (it downloads a short list of our other apps from our own server) and to let the app store handle an optional one-time purchase. Game progress stays on your device.
Animal Tower (“the App”) is published by Best App Maciej Gorzala, the studio behind KiddoWise (“we”, “us”). We care deeply about the privacy of children and their families. This policy explains, in plain language, how the App handles data.
Information we collect
No personal data. The App does not collect names, email addresses, photos, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers. It has no accounts and no sign-in, and it never asks a child for any information.
Your game progress, your settings (language, music and sound), and whether the optional unlock has been purchased are stored only on your device. They are removed when the App is deleted.
When the App goes online
Unlike a fully offline app, Animal Tower makes a small number of outbound requests. None of them send personal data, and we never attach an identifier to them:
- “More games” screen. When a grown-up opens our “More games” screen, the
App downloads a short list of our other apps (and their icons) from our own
server at
kiddowise.dev. As with any internet request, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) can see the device’s IP address and standard request details such as the time and app version — this is technical and unavoidable for any download. We do not use it to identify you, track you, or build any profile, and the list is cached so the screen works offline afterwards. The App fetches nothing online at startup or during play. - Purchases. Handled by Apple or Google — see “Purchases” below.
- Links out of the App. Opening one of our other apps, rating the App, or opening this policy hands a link to the device’s App Store, Google Play, or browser. Every such link sits behind a parental gate (see below).
Purchases
The App offers one optional, one-time purchase that unlocks all content. The purchase and your payment are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never see or store your payment details. On Apple devices the purchase is verified on the device itself; we run no purchase server of our own. “Restore purchases” simply asks the store again what you already own. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
Third parties
The App contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking SDKs. The only outside services involved are:
- Apple — App Store and in-app purchases (Apple’s privacy policy applies).
- Google — Google Play and in-app purchases on Android (Google’s privacy policy applies).
- Cloudflare — hosts
kiddowise.dev, which serves the “More games” list, its icons, and this page.
No data is sold or shared for marketing, because no personal data is collected in the first place.
Children’s privacy
The App is designed for children and is built to comply with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we collect no personal data, there is no personal data of a child to access, store, or delete.
Parental controls and consent
We use a parental gate to protect the parts of the App that are not intended for children to use alone. Every purchase, the “restore purchases” action, the settings screen, and every link that leaves the App sit behind this gate. The gate requires an action that only an adult can reasonably complete (for example, solving a simple problem), in line with Apple’s Kids Category and Google Play’s Families requirements. This keeps children from making purchases or leaving the App without a parent or guardian present.
Parental rights
Because the App collects no personal data, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete on a child’s behalf. Even so, as a parent or guardian you always have the right to:
- Contact us with any question about the App’s privacy practices.
- Ask us to confirm, in writing, that no data about your child is collected or stored by us.
- Delete all local data simply by removing the App from the device.
To exercise any of these, write to us at hello@kiddowise.dev.
Data retention and deletion
We keep no personal data about you, so there is nothing on our side to retain, export, or delete, and no consent to withdraw. Standard, transient server logs at our hosting provider may briefly record the IP address of a request, as is normal for any website; we do not use these logs to identify users or build profiles. Any game progress is stored only on the device and is removed if you delete the App.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the date above before the change takes effect.
