Privacy Policy — Paddock to Podium
last updated 27 October 2026
The short version: Paddock to Podium keeps your careers, driver names and settings on your device. It has no account or cloud sync. In a release with advertising enabled, Google AdMob can process device and interaction data to provide ads, subject to your choices and applicable law. Apple or Google handles the optional one-time purchase that removes future in-game ad requests. In a release that includes crash reporting, the App also sends crash and error reports to Sentry by default; you can turn this off in Settings → Privacy. You can revisit available ad privacy choices in the same place.
Paddock to Podium (“the App”) is published by Best App Maciej Gorzala, the studio behind KiddoWise (“we”, “us”). This policy describes the version of the App that includes advertising and the optional purchase to remove it. The App is a racing management game intended for adults; it is not directed at children. It is intended for players worldwide.
What the App stores on your device
The App stores your career slots, including the driver name you enter, career progress, race results and game finances. It also stores settings such as language, text size and sound, plus app-wide information needed to remember purchase ownership, advertising frequency and consent status. In a release that includes crash reporting, it also stores your crash-report choice, a random installation identifier created by the crash reporting SDK, and any reports waiting to be sent (see Crash reports and diagnostics below). This information is used to resume play, apply your choices and avoid showing ads when they should be suppressed. We do not provide an account or a cloud career service, and we do not receive your career or driver name through those features.
Local App data ordinarily remains until you remove it in the App, where a removal option exists, or uninstall the App. Your device’s own backup service may keep a copy under your Apple or Google backup settings. Uninstalling does not necessarily erase those backups or data previously processed by outside services.
Advertising and consent
In an ad-enabled release, the App uses Google AdMob to request occasional full-screen ads at season transitions. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), device and advertising identifiers where available under platform settings, ad and App interactions, and diagnostic data. Google describes these categories in its Android and iOS disclosures. This processing supports ad delivery, measurement, service performance and fraud prevention. Google and its advertising partners may process data under their own policies; see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps.
Where required, Google’s consent form asks for your advertising choices before the App requests ads. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalized or less personalized. You can return to available Privacy options in the App’s Settings → Privacy and change or withdraw your choices; the game remains playable. A changed choice affects future processing and does not undo data already processed. Your device also offers advertising controls. On iOS, if the App requests permission to track across other companies’ apps and websites, the system will ask through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can change that permission in iOS Settings. Your response to one control does not replace choices required by another.
Ad-related disclosures to providers can constitute a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising under some regional laws; where applicable, use the App’s Privacy options, device controls, or contact us about your rights.
Crash reports and diagnostics
In a release that includes crash reporting, the App sends crash and error reports to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), which stores them in its EU data region. We use them to find and fix crashes. Reports are on by default. You can turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy → “Send crash reports”. While they are off, the App sends no reports, and reports collected but not yet sent are discarded. If you turn reports back on, crashes from the period when they were off are not sent.
A report can contain, depending on your device:
- the error, crash or app-freeze details and stack trace;
- your device model and manufacturer, operating system version, graphics chip and technical device state and settings, such as memory, storage, battery, screen, language, time zone and the permissions granted to the App;
- periodic performance snapshots, such as frame rate and memory use;
- the game version and build;
- the names of the last game screens you visited;
- app lifecycle, connectivity and system events (such as the screen turning off or a change in battery state) and taps, as recorded by the SDK;
- for a failed save, the error code and the kind of operation, but no save content.
Reports do not include your career saves, driver names or career names, logs of the game’s text output, screenshots or memory dumps.
The Sentry SDK generates a random installation identifier and stores it in the App’s files on your device. It is created even when reports are off, but it is sent only while reports are on. It is not linked to an account, a name or the advertising ID.
As with any internet request, your device’s IP address reaches Sentry in transit. The project is configured so that Sentry does not store IP addresses, or the approximate location derived from them, with reports. Under our current plan, Sentry keeps crash and error reports for 30 days, after which they are no longer available and are deleted under Sentry’s policies. Sentry processes this data for us and may use its own sub-processors under its terms. Sentry and its sub-processors may process data outside your country, subject to their published terms and safeguards; see Sentry’s Privacy Policy and Sentry’s sub-processors.
Optional purchase
The App offers a one-time Remove Ads purchase. Apple App Store or Google Play handles checkout, payment and restoration through its own services. We do not receive your full payment card details. The App keeps a local record of the entitlement and checks it with the store when needed. A successful purchase stops future in-game ad requests across career slots on that device; it does not erase information Google or others processed before the purchase. The stores’ own privacy terms apply to payment and purchase records: Apple and Google.
Retention, location and your choices
We do not operate a server that stores your careers or an account to delete. Crash reports are stored for us by Sentry in its EU data region and kept for 30 days under our current plan, as described above. AdMob and the app stores control retention of data they process under their own policies; we cannot promise a single deletion period for those records. Their processing, and access by Sentry’s sub-processors, may occur outside your country, subject to their published terms and safeguards. You may delete local careers through available game controls and remove the App to remove its local files, while checking device backups separately. To stop crash reports, turn off “Send crash reports” in Settings → Privacy. For ad choices, use Privacy options when shown in Settings → Privacy and your device’s privacy controls.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction or deletion of personal data, or to object to certain processing. Send requests or questions to hello@kiddowise.dev. We will respond to requests concerning data we control and explain when a request concerns a provider’s own records. Crash reports are not linked to your name or account, so we usually cannot tell which reports are yours; Sentry removes crash and error reports automatically after 30 days under our current plan, and you can stop future reports with the toggle in Settings → Privacy. You can also contact your local data protection authority where that right applies.
Changes and contact
We will update this page and its date if the App’s data practices change. For privacy questions, contact Best App Maciej Gorzala, ul. Pałacowa 125, 08-110 Siedlce, Poland, at hello@kiddowise.dev.
